Their systems detect and alert staff when suspicious behaviour is detected, helping prevent theft and improve store security.
Before approaching Cloudify, Alertsystems needed help with automating the manual processes of carrying out the business like creating invoices for the customers and creating customers/products in e-conomic.
What did Alertsystems needed help with?
They faced several challenges in their business operations.
- They needed to create a draft invoice in e-conomic for every new order in WooCommerce,
- Find customers in e-conomic using the VAT number in WooCommerce, and
- Add new customers and products in e-conomic automatically when it is added to WooCommerce.
How did we approach it?
Cloudify provided an end-to-end solution to address AlertSystems' challenges. We analysed their current tech stack, and business processes they wanted to automate. We integrated the WooCommerce and e-conomic apps to automate the entire process of creating draft invoices, finding customers, and adding new customers and products.
We utilised the following methods to achieve the desired outcomes:
Draft Invoice Creation: We automated the process of creating a draft invoice in e-conomic for every new order in WooCommerce. This was achieved by using e-conomic's API to create a new draft invoice and populate it with the relevant data from WooCommerce.
Finding Customers: By using the VAT number in WooCommerce, we automated the process of finding customers in e-conomic. This was achieved by using e-conomic's API to search for customers based on their VAT number and retrieve their information.
Adding New Customers and Products: We also automated the process of adding new customers and products to e-conomic when added to WooCommerce. This was achieved by using WooCommerce's API to listen for new customer and product additions and using e-conomic's API to add them automatically to the appropriate lists.
